Why do anime fans seem so perverted and degenerate?

I have gone to several conventions. It seems like people who are into anime seem to be so perverted. I have met tons of anime fans. A lot of female cosplayers were willing to hold me on a leash, step on me, or give me a kiss on the cheek for a picture. Some were even willing to sit on me, let me grab them, or spit on me (although some charged for it). I still have pictures and videos of the encounters I took with them. some people I know also have the same experiences and I see lots of videos on YouTube, Twitter, etc of people doing the same. people being stepped on or sat on by cosplayers.
