I'm an international student in Denmark pursuing a full-time master's degree since Spring 2022. When I first arrived here, I was given a pink card that included residence for 2 years of stay as a student and 6 months for job-seeking. The 2 years of student visa ends on the 31st of January,2024. I extended my study period by a semester to pursue my master's thesis from Feb-Aug,2024 because I had to retake a couple of courses last year. But before I begin with thesis work now, I'm headed back to my home country(in Asia) for a couple of weeks.
Just wanted to confirm here that it's safe to fly back home and return to Denmark despite my student visa transitioning into job-seeking visa. Or should I apply for an extension of the student visa before I leave on the 24th Jan?
