Sorry if this has been asked before.
Important notes:
- I hate to cook, and I'm totally fine with eating very similar things day after day.
- I don't have a lot of money to spend.
- I have high cholesterol and I'm tired all the time and need to eat healthy, to improve my cholesterol but also to see if that's what's causing my fatigue, because if it isn't, I need to pester my doctor.
My brother introduced me to "meal planning" in the sense of: make some rice, make some beans, make some green beans (I hate green beans), and make enough to last a week, boom, there's your lunch for a week. Cool!
What are some healthy alternatives that would last for a week? I'm trying to think of things I like and combining them. Maybe asparagus instead of green beans? Maybe some pasta some weeks instead of rice? Won't most meats go bad in like 3 days though, so...maybe I'd have to do some of the cooking twice a week, but...anyway...I can have fruits for snacks, too, if I feel hungry afterward. Hmm...
Ideas? And/or resources where I can find ideas?
Thank you so much!!!
