Cookeville, Tennessee is the hub of the Upper Cumberland region and the seat of Putnam County. It is located along I-40 at approximately halfway between Knoxville and Nashville. Cookeville is home to Tennessee Tech University, Cookeville Regional Medical Center, and "nearby attractions."

Folks live here because it's beautiful. Within 30 minutes you have easy access to 3 state parks, 1 state natural area, 7 wildlife management areas, and two large recreational lakes.
