Olehna sat in the center of her small pond, located in the middle of her circular home for several hours. It was silent, save for the small fluttering of wings when birds flew in and out to gather their seeds and food.

She had soft lilac skin, with exotic features, common for her water fey ancestry. Amongst her kind, she was known as the Seer, and had an unusual role within her tribe. She mostly isolated herself up inside her tree-home, that her Seer ancestors have used for centuries. It was a small, homey space with enough for comfort, all circling around a pond with crystal water in the middle that was used to help them magnify their powers.

Olehna happened to be the Seer during the transition of the empire’s powers, and her presence was a mere superstitious rumor at this point. Little fey and dwarven people came to offer their gifts in exchange for her wisdom towards them, but not much more than that.

However, this particular Emperor taking over was the superstitious kind and wanted to see for himself whether Olehna’s powers were true. No one had truly used the water-fey’s potential yet. Using them to overthrow the empire to the south, the desert folk, and their powerful animals at their calling, would make him invincible (insert potential harem). He wanted the people who could control beasts for himself, for he wanted to take over all five kingdoms under his control and create order. He was a bloodthirsty tyrant and had his own string of magical power within him, for something within him drew her towards Olehna, and when she would meet him, she would find the same magnetic pull towards him.

Olehna’s body was full and womanly, and for her kind, she was a young woman looking about twenty. In human years, she was sixty, but she was sheltered. She had never left her small village, but in her mind’s eye, she had seen it all. Wars and battles to come, the fall of the desert folk, and even the potential treaty of the northern people and their ice magic. She saw the death of the Emperor himself- his own karma in a sense coming back to get him.

However, there was something that she had told no one- not even her water fey folk. A secret that no Seer was allowed to tell another soul. Seers could change fate. They could timeline-walk, and pick and choose what timeline to follow, if they told the person in charge what to do. They were the masters of fate, and due to a horrific accident centuries ago, they forbade any future Seer from telling anyone of this power so history does not repeat itself. Cursing them to only use the Seer abilities for small moments of good and happiness.

However, should someone get her to love them and worship them, or perhaps put some sort of binding spell on her, she may overpower her Seer oath and give the world’s fate to him(/her/them).

This is a plot I have had for a while. In my minds-eye I view it as some interesting astral-projection scenes, where perhaps we can write out different timelines that the emperor lives. I am happy to GM a bit more on this one as it’s a bit mapped out in my head including how her power works. Just come along for the ride ;)

There are two roles I am looking for the other writer to potentially play:

1. The emperor. (You can make the emperor the leading man)
2. The emperor’s right hand “shadow emperor”. (The person (man, woman, non-binary, etc) who pulls all the strings behind the scenes.)

Characters: I am looking for us to equally divide all roles. I am happy to play male, female, beasts, etc.
