First consulting gig

My first post, so I’ve never done consulting before, and work full time. Have a friend who is an executive at another company and said he could use my help so his company hired me as a consultant. They’re asking for a report at the end of a deep dive process analysis. I have never had to do a report before, usually just ppts for quick decisions. Any guidance on formats??
