Which is more useful: Power BI or Tableau?

In your own experience, which would you say is better and provides value? I know a tiny bit of both, and from my own experiences, I feel like Tableau is more powerful. However, with how much Microsoft is currently investing in Power BI, I feel like it may eventually be on the same level as Tableau?
On that note, what are some good resources to learn Tableau?
