Why would a grand conspiracy last longer than one persons lifetime?

For example Hitler came into power, being the crazy fuck he was chaos ensued. Once WWII was over, he died and nazis essentially died out.
Let’s say the majority of people in the world economic forum die off in the next 10-20 years. Why would the same agenda continue? Is the supposed new world order some sort of deeper agenda that transcends a human lifespan with continuity, or is it whoever happens to be in these positions of power is making these decisions as they go?
