So I called my grandmother this morning to check on her, she is 83 got her booster shot the beginning of December and has been sick ever sense. A horrible cough, to phenomenon back to a cough now after many rounds of antibiotics. I asked her about the rest of my family still in NC that were all also vaccinated that have had covid since new year they are doing better. I told her that she finally was starting to sound better, here is where the conversation got interesting. She told me that she had been back to the doctor on Tuesday for a follow up check up of her lungs, her doctor told her that the New Hanover medical group was only seeing vaccinated people now. I found this to be very strange but we continued are conversation she then informed me that her doctor told her how overwhelmed they were. That people were having to wait up to 6 hrs in her clinic to be seen. That they had actually had to come to work while sick because there was not enough staff. So I ask I thought the "vaccine " was stopping hospital and doctor visits? I thought the vaccine mandates and losing doctors and nurses was no big deal because it was not that many??? All very strange to me!!!
