You’re iMac and or MacBook might be listening to you
Post Body

So I record (sometimes) music with my iMac and MacBook. Tonight I was listening back to some music I was recorded a while ago and I started getting some obnoxious feed back. I couldn’t figure out why. So I muted a couple channels and I started to hear myself and my movements amplified through my head phones. I realized that the only way I would be able to hear any input would be if I allowed it. So I when to the settings and checked the “input” options and noticed that it was enabled and the mic on my computer was picking up a very high level of input. I muted it but I don’t think that its going to stop it from picking up input. I tried to turn this off but there is no option to do so. This made me really paranoid because I have no control over what my desktop is listening to.

EDIT: the your in the title was autocorrected and I didn’t notice.
