To me, AI is truly ushering in the end of times. It steals art from artists, creates completely unrealistic artistic expectations by creating art that is physically impossible, and makes people who cannot do art think they are suddenly artists.

It could have been created to help us. To do chores we don’t like to do. To make us money. To give us more time to create and have hobbies, not take away our hobbies so we have more time for productivity.

My biggest theory is that the subtext of all of this is that tech and finance bros are so deeply envious of artists ability to create. They don’t have those kinds of brains. They see incredible art and will never reach that. They subconsciously hate artists because they are jealous. So they had to make a program that would finally make them feel like they’re on the same playing field as creators. They want us to stay poor and “stay on top” so they decided to steal not only our talents but our livelihoods.
