Gaming dilemma
Post Body

This post may sound like a minor complaint but something I've been battling with for a while. I've always had consoles since I was a kid growing up. I'm 30 yrs old and built my first gaming pc in 2015 and upgraded it in 2022. I thought in 2020 I would just stick with consoles from here on out but seeing as how with pc you can upgrade the game whenever you upgrade your components makes me experience the best version of the game. For console, you're at the whim of the developer to make a next or current gen version of the game you're playing so you could be in the middle of playing a game of lesser quality then as you beat it they release a next gen patch. That's one of the big reasons that puts me off from wanting to game on consoles again aside from paying to play online.

Does anyone else feel the same? I'm hoping to have a discussion to maybe convince me otherwise because I just want to enjoy consoles again. I literally plug my pc on the couch and use controller.
