What’s better option for repairing Xbox?

My Xbox isn’t find any Wi-Fi connections, I’ve tried restoring to default, doing the dns, clearing Mac, restarting Xbox and router. Xbox support wins I need to send it in. Would it be better/cheaper to send it to them or have a local video game repair place fix it?
