Hello all,
I am working in a nonprofit organisation working for environment conservation in the Indian Himalayan Range and the states dependent on it. Currently we are working on restoration of few ponds that have immense algae bloom, gets muddy whenever it rains and has accumulated a lot of sludge in it over a long period. We are currently planning on its rejuvenation by properly managing the oxygenation of water, filtration of runoff water by setting up natural wetland filter, removal of sludge and add some beauty to it by adding some rocks for stepping water flow, water plants as well as some good fishes. Anyone with expertise to it, please guide me on how we can do it in the best possible way.
I’ll also be immensely grateful if you can help me raise funds for the same activity. The pond would benefit in the recharge of groundwater which would restore springs in the catchment and benefit 40-50 rural households, migratory workers who use water for drinking and domestic use. Will be able to provide Volunteering & Donation Certificate! Happy to share any other details including the coordinates of the project site, inlet, outlet, slope, soil type etc. for best possible outcome.
Thank you so much for your support and guidance.
