Hello guys! I had this idea about putting nouns inside of verbs so that the verbs would get like really big. Like you could get a word to be an entire sentence in English xD Anyway, if I'm making any mistakes just tell me cause I wanna learn i swear no h8 tho. The language is called Atłaq (pronounced AT-lah but you liek stop quickly at the end, sorry i suck at IPA) and its pretty priori but sometimes i take words from other languages. Ok let's get into it oh and also its a natlang so if im breaking any rules sorry
So when you put a noun in a verb you can't just like put it there, you have to change it a bit first sometimes. How it changes can be a bit random (like me XD) but here are some stuff that can happen
- if it's a double word where you say the same thing twice one of the things is removed. So the word for mom is mama but when you put it in a verb it has to be maa otherwise ppl will think your an idiot who cant speak Atłaq properly xD. Oh and you have to add an extra A because random xD no but seriously i dunno
- in the olden days Atłaq had these almost but not really words, called clicks, that you put before other words that tell you the gender and stuff about it. You can often just remove them. Oh but if the clitorics change stuff in the other word yuo often keep those changes. So man is isu and woman is ułtu but if you put them in verbs you say su and tu instead. in the protoCon-Lang they were i-tu and ul-tu but then they changed obviously because languages always change no matter what!
- The last consonant can just change if it wants to but T always changes to TS and TŁ changes to S and Ł changes to S and Q changes to K and H changes to X and R changes to J. Not only that but there's this thing in Atłaq where some consonants dont like being close to each other so the left one will change. Kinda like finnish but not, and better xD So liek the word for ear is qar but in a verb its kaj. In the olden days there was an I there that changed the last consonant and it meant like "in". This happens mostly for body parts and places
- Some words just randomly change to something completely different like water is tłuu but in a verb it's tšibb XD. Thats because tłuu disnt use to mean water but "juice" lol and then it changed to water
Now if that wasn't hard enough verbs can also change if they have a noun inside of them but don't worry it's not that hard because it can only change in one way. The last consonant can change like i said before but in the other direction, and also like before consonants before cna also change. Like for example "to have" is ts but if a noun is there you have to say t.
If you're putting a noun in a verb then the noun always comes first. That's a ruel!
You can put all kinds of nouns inside of verbs. Like the object which is the thing someone does something to if you didnt know
Nambanaanatšam
past(only kinda tho).I.banana.eat
I ate banana.
The verb conjugates for bananas lol! Also you can put some stuff like locations your moving to or from
Naammuvutšu aštaq
past(only kinda tho).(s)he.to.go.perfect home
(S)he went home.
Naammuvaštaqutšu
past(only kinda tho).(s)he.to.home.go.perfect
(S)he went home.
You can say the first one but like why would you when one word is so much faster? well theres actually a reason I will tell you later.
You can even put subjects in there! but only if the verb doesn't have an object and only if the subject like doesn't actually do anything.

it.dog.red
The dog is red.
So like here the dog doens't actually do anything so you can put it in the verb. Also the A in th beginning is kinda useless but you still have to have it there because that's another rule. Like it means "it" but its like the "it" in "it rains" so you need it.
Ok so why would you put the noun in the verb? Well basically theres 2 reasons. The first is that the noun doesn't really mean anything it's just theer to specify what kind of thing the verb is talking about. It's like in mountain-climbing where the mountain is just there to say what kind o thing it is your climbing but it's not like any specific mountain youre talking about. The other reason is that you are just tired of having the noun ok im mostly bullshitting it's just so forking cool to put nouns in verbs like look at those giant ass verbs xD who cares what it does
Another cool thing that happens is thatwhen you have a word that describes the noun like this or that or two, but not adjectives because those don't exist in Atłaq their actually verbs lol, then you can still put just the noun in the verb but the describing word can stay outside and adds a Š at the end (that's another clitoric!)
Naaš nisbanaanatšam?
what past(only kinda tho).you.banana.eat
Which banana did you eat?
please dont steal this or at least credit me first if your gonna use it in your ConLang. A last cool thing is that you can make verbs into nouns by putting a noun in it, as long as the verb doesn't have an object. Then you don't need the A like you did before
Xutłeman
dog.red
A red dog.
Ok so what nouns can you put in verbs? Like not objects and subjects or stuff like that I already talked about that if you cared to read it, no im talking about specific words like car or pyjamas or mouse (thats allen btw yes hello Allen, no its not to honor you or anything its just that it fit the wordbuilding rules and im shit at making up words ok?). anyway, names for places and ppl and things like that don't go into verbs because their strong independent words that dont need no verb! Same for nouns that come from verbs because that just doens't make sense lol. Like verbs in verbs that's some inception kinda sht and thats just too much to deal with. Nouns that are made from several nouns can be, but they don't want to if they can avoid it. People in general like the word for mom and dad or doctor don't like to be in verbs either. Babys can be though because the Atłaq ppl don't think of babies as ppl lol. That may seem cruel but its not a utopian Conglang ok?
Axutłëhał.
it.dog.scared
The dog is scared.
Asuhał.
it.man.scared
The man is scared. This one works but it sounds a bit weird because men dont wanna be in verbs
Theers' some verbs that dont follow those rules tho. One of them is "to have" which is ts and they don't care about what is put into it. Even a mom can be put in ts. Like to the Atłaq ppl it even sounds weird to have something that could be in the verb be outside for these verbs. Except for when the noun takes emphases with the Š clickit.
Ammaat.
I.mother.have
"I have a mother."
Mama-š amts.
mother.emphasis I.have
"I have A MOTHER."
Amts mama.
I.have mother
I have a mother. This also sounds weird
Ok so I think thats it. Upvote comment subscribe I guess
