Evolution of syllable structure

Post Body

I have a language that is going to evolve over a time span of 1,500 years and, ideally, change its syllable structure by doing so.

The language is currently a C(N)(A)V(C)(C) language and I want to evolve it to become a (C)(C)(C)V(C)(C)(C) or something similar.

If you’re familiar with the north western Germanic languages then you’ll noice this is the predominant syllable structure. The person who I’m designing the language for wants it to sound similar to those languages, so I’m aiming to use the structure of the languages.

And that brings me back to my question; what are some methods of evolving the syllable structure of a language to such an extent?

Any responses are greatly appreciated.
