Heya, /r/conlangs! I've personally been undergoing a lot of trying events in my life, and in this time of personal turmoil, I often find myself turning to the ancient wisdom of the Stoic philosophers. After a bit of thinking (which also has got me returning to conlanging, coincidentally), I realized that this might be useful for the /r/conlangs community.
So, without further ado, I give you Stoicism, daily. I'll provide a quote by a Stoic philosopher, and you translate it into your conlang (and transliterate their name too, if you want). You can also discuss how the quote might be interpereted as relating to events in your conworlds, or similar thinkers your conpeople have produced. Here is today's quote:
You have power over your mind - not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.
