First let me say that I am not an english major so I am having a little issue trying to figure this out.
Sorry if this is mildly off topic, but I do need some assistance to help me with my Conlang.
My conlang is VSO order with Adjectives and Adverbs following the Verb, Subject or Object. So "overly tired" would be "tired overly"
This isn't that much of a problem until you come to very complex sentences. I was trying to translate a book I wrote and was really scratching my head. SO... if anyone could look at the sentence below and give me some assistance on how the sentence would be converted to VSO order I would GREATLY appreciate that.
Escaping from the lab wasn’t going to be easy, he knew that, but crawling through the caverns was more of a near death experience than he had expected.
