Challenge Translate A Poem By Edgar Allan Poe
Post Body

I love Poe's poem's and thought I would translate one of his I like. Here is the Poem:

'Twas noontide of summer,
And mid-time of night;
And stars, in their orbits,
Shone pale, thro' the light
Of the brighter, cold moon,
'Mid planets her slaves,
Herself in the Heavens,
Her beam on the waves.
I gazed awhile
On her cold smile;
Too cold- too cold for me-
There pass'd, as a shroud,
A fleecy cloud,
And I turned away to thee,
Proud Evening Star,
In thy glory afar,
And dearer thy beam shall be;
For joy to my heart
Is the proud part
Thou bearest in Heaven at night,
And more I admire
Thy distant fire,
Than that colder, lowly light.

And here is the translation in Verbum (note: long vowel symbol is long, â says "cat")

ju nētā fan âsta,
il fan dēna;
stel, sēmē’insalū,
bar bī, ach nit
ganit, il gatepna mon,
ach mul jūlna ward,
jūlna sē’anū,
jūlna mag sēflūsū.
jū nēgavēdō an nōdēz
jūlna gatepna ris;
az gatepna az gatepna an jū-
gatūmid nebūl nēchō fā,
il jū shasē al ju,
rabūtēr mon sēkal fā,
ju nit bar sējū;
gafek alna lūlib
ju rabūtēr orn
thārā anū lūdēna,
il jū za, gagersē,
ēsō gatepna, māshna nit.

Have fun translating yours.

EDIT: I don't know how to put the challenge flair on the title.
