Yaral has eight cases: absolutive, ergative, genitive, dative, locative, ablative, instrumental and comparative. The realization of their suffixes is mostly uniform regardless of the word being marked, although nouns use a more extensive declension paradigm. Allomorphy is present in several instances, particularly on the plural pronouns. In all cases except the absolutive, they exhibit two forms(three in the genitive). This allomorphy is generally a product of elision, found mostly in quicker-paced informal language.
