Server is up! http://www.reddit.com/r/conlangs/comments/1dwejf/craftlang_a_minecraft_server_for_conlang/
-----EDIT-----
Alright everyone, looks like there's a lot of interest in this idea. I'll be contacting some people about the server. I'm happy to pay for one until I get my Mac Mini to run a dedicated one from my work network (very fast internet connection).
Once the server situation is figured out, I'll put the details up in a new post with a wiki link as well. So stoked people are into this!
-----EDIT-----
Hey all! I've been using Minecraft as a way to naturally develop my languages as I explore and build. It's been a great way to work out the foundations in the context of the game world.
Problem is, it's just me! I know a couple other people in here have been using Minecraft and I would like to start a Conlang Minecraft Server.
Here's the deal. We start a brand new world, and a brand new language. Everyone works together to develop a language to describe the world around us and communicate, and we see what we come up with. Maybe some people will branch off and start another language in the same world, maybe we'll have factions?
If you're interested, reply with your Minecraft username and if enough people are interested, I'll set up the server.
