... tbh this seems like two people with different accents arguing. Like... Poetry is art, art is subjective, and if poem has one syllable in your dialect of English then the Haiku is correct for you and those who speak like you. Everyone got shitty asf about it, but still, seems like a misunderstanding that got out of hand.
