I’ve had low self esteem issues my whole life. It’s mostly because I’ve been raised on the idea that you have to be perfect to be worthy. Perfectionism has ruined my perspective on life and just about anything in my life. I hold everyone to high standards. I dispose of people easily. I lose friends and relationships. It also has hindered me from taking charge of starting businesses or chasing a real career path. I procrastinate a lot. I don’t like my teeth or smile. I’m insecure about my private part because it’s not the biggest in the world. This is a serious issue I want to walk around and feel ok with everything. I want to be more accepting and understanding. I want to truely understand what it means to be human and knowing that things or people will never be perfect. It’s a lonely experience and doesn’t feel good. This caused serious depression for me but I’m taking steps to turn it around. Let me know if you want to be my accountability partner.
