Help building confidence / With women and everyday things
Post Body

Hi,

First time posting here so if this post is incorrect, to general or needs to be posted somewhere else, please let me know.

I (35M) have had confidence issues for most of my life. Especially around women. I often feel that women can't be attracted to me. In fact, its hard for my mind to even comprehend that a woman could be interested in me. Like it just seems wrong, like a math problem that doesn't add up. Now I have dated in the past. I even dated a woman that I thought was completely out of my league for a little while. The confidence issues got in the way and we just grew apart.

When it comes to normal everyday things I have smaller issues. Like I have had some projects to do around the house but often feel that I can't do them. Not sure if its a lack of motivation or a belief that I can't do it.

Honestly, I feel that if I felt more confident around women, that might help everything else. I don't know. That could just be loneliness. I'm just tired of feeling that no woman could be interested because I know that's a lie. I've dated before, I'm not a virgin. I've talked to a few women on reddit that are very beautiful and they've complimented me. So I am attractive in someway.

Do I need to focus on being more positive? Has someone else felt similar and was able to change it? Any tricks or eureka thoughts that have helped you?
