I shared recently about a mildly mortifying moment at my goddaughter's baptism. I opted to skip the bra under my blouse, thinking it looked effortlessly chic. But when the holy water splashed during the ceremony and the pictures came back, it became very obvious I was going au naturel.

After the ceremony, one of the other guests—a very handsome family friend I’d never met before—approached me. He smiled and said, “You really know how to liven up a baptism.” Cue my cheeks turning bright red.

I awkwardly laughed, but he wasn’t done. “Seriously,” he added, “I don’t think anyone could stop looking at you. You looked stunning up there.”

Let’s just say I didn’t mind the attention so much after that. We ended up talking for a while, and I learned he’s single. I’d call that a win!

So, maybe I’ll rethink my outfit for future church events… or maybe I’ll keep things interesting.
