To be fair, I grew up in the city while my wife grew up on a farm. A year after we were married we were back visiting her family.

We went mudding on quads. When we got back we were covered in mud. My wife, who had not gone, her brother and his wife, took the kids, all 5 of them, around the side of the house to hose them off. I was told to use the shower in the barn.

This is/was a huge barn. No animals anymore, so mostly converted for storage. I had only been in there once. When you walk in the front door there is a section on the left, showers. Well a very large shower. It had been used to clean off the animals, back when they had animals. The shower area had a 4foot tall fence around it. Not solid, just bars standing up with bars going across to keep whatever animal being washed in there. At the far end was another door into offices. I had never been down there.

My sisters in law hosed off the quads while I went, alone, to the barn. At this time I am thinking that they would wait until I got back to go shower themselves. Same for my brother in law and his wife.

I got up to the barn, turned on the water. It had a lot pressure and made a lot of noise. I stepped into the water, about a 2foot by 2foot square of it, and began getting the mud off my clothes. First while I was wearing them, then taking things off to get the mud off of them. I then hung them over the bars on the fence.

I stood there under the water and removed my final piece of clothing. No, my underwear was not muddy, but soaked as I was in the shower. I stood there naked under the running water. I could live under a waterfall, and this was the best shower I had ever taken. No soap though. That was my only thought at the moment.

I stepped back out of the water and looked around for soap. I mean my wife sent me here to shower and the others were coming after me so there had to be soap. None. I said allowed to myself, "weird, no soap".

From behind me I hear, "The soap is in the showers".

My sisters in law had come in. Both still covered in mud. The both entered the stall and took turns getting under the water doing what I had done with their shirts and pants. They left their bras and panties on. This took about 2 minutes. Both of them seemed to be enjoying my awkwardness as I stood there naked in full view of them. I had considered covering myself but hadnt gotten that far. Of course when they started undressing I did think for a few seconds that things were going to go further.

I was ready to stop things and remind them I was married to their sister. One reached out to me. Im naked and they are still in their bras and panties. She took my hand and turned me around and pointed to the far end of the barn. That way is all she said.

The three of us walked to the far end of the barn. I heard the barn door open at the front of the barn as my brother in law and his wife entered. We walked thru the door to the offices, my head still spinning.

There along the side were 6 showers. What I was supposed to do was clean off the mud, hang my shirt and pants to dry, then go to the showers in my underwear. One of my sisters in law said, "workers would shower here before going home so their cars didnt smell like animals". The showers were all divided up and had huge areas to get clean, dried, and dressed. All behind a shower curtain.

Oh, they had soap too.

My wife found out by the time I got back to the house. I had stayed in the shower longer as I was embarrassed. All she could do was laugh. This city boy has been married to that country girl for 25 years and it still makes her laugh
