My uncle committed suicide this weekend and we found him today.

My uncle lives by himself and has been really depressed lately. I was working from home today and got a call from my mother that he had shot himself in the head. I rushed to his house and saw him lying there on the couch surrounded by an endless sea of red…. My uncle was one of my best friends and now he’s gone. Honestly, life is going to be very different without him around and it kills me knowing he went through so much pain that the only option he felt was right was to kill himself. I am at a loss for words right now.
