not really sure why i’m saying this, just kinda wanted to say it. so, i have been broken up with my ex of 3 years for about 2 years and i have been been doing well without out her for a while now. i was on my way home and i realized the road i take to go home was closed, so i had to go the long way. when i was going that way i realized that there’s a shortcut and i could take a road that’s before the actual exit and get to my house faster. the road is about a mile or 2 long and i would only go down it to go to ex’s house, so i haven’t been down it in years. it didn’t even go through my head at first that it was that road, so once i turned i was like ah damn. it was just a very weird and saddening experience driving down it and having all of the memories soak in at once. the entire drive down it didn’t feel real and i was just at a loss for words pretty much. it was just a strange experience that i wanted to tell someone.
