Annoyed by my girlfriend's family

My girlfriend's family act like they embrace their Frwnch heritage because use the French term for.aunt and grandma and that's all they know. In reality they are French as French fries. It annoys me so much when they talk to each other or reference an aunt or grandmother and use.the French term. I just want to tell them to shut up. To this day I refuse to ever call them the French terms.
