My Aunt Linda passed away at home yesterday. She had been disabled for many many years with arthritis and other issues like COPD, she was a heavy smoker.
I feel bad because I haven't seen or talked to her in years. She and my mother had a falling out, and haven't been speaking for a long time, me either. She was all alone at home, and her daughter had to call a neighbour to check on her. This is the first close relative of mine that has died. My family is not super-close, so I don't know how or to who to express my sadness. She was my favorite aunt when I was younger, whenever my parents and I would go back to visit family there I would always stay at her house.
I miss you Aunt Linda. :(
