From a young age, I was taught to be nice. Say thank you when someone keeps the door open for you; like birthday, wedding, and anniversary posts on facebook. If you got a new job or got into medical school congrats, but sometimes I wanted to say big deal. There are single moms out there who working two jobs and raising multiple kids on there own and you don't seem them asking for praise. The asshole side of me has been hidden for years and now I have found reddit as my outlet. I basically can say whatever I want if I'm willing to accept the consequences, but this is just the internet. No more side looks for an inappropriate joke, no more gasps for a nasty pick up line and no more "you shouldn't talk about that it isn't pc" from friends and family. I'm free and I am enjoying my freedom.
