I tried to buy paper and pencils at my university bookstore but gave up due to cognitive issues

First I tried to use my university card, but the financial aid on it didn't work(dunno why, it works online). Then I tried to use my debit card, but I can never remember how you're supposed to insert/swipe cards, and I gave up after a few tries.
