My ex killed himself

I was technically his mistress I guess. He told me him and his wife were separated but when I found out I told her. That was the beginning of October. And as of 4 or 5 days ago, he’s gone.
I don’t think it’s my fault, but I wonder if he’d still be here if I didn’t tell her. If I knew this would be the outcome, I would have kept him in my life. He was broken, and he didn’t deserve to go out that way.
