I moved across the country and it was a terrible mistake.
Post Body

I decided to follow the sense of adventure when work and opportunities dried up in California. The only person who was kind enough to open a door to a space to stay was in Pittsburgh. I packed up my life and moved across the country. The person who said they would help turned out to be a lonely shut-in who mistakenly assumed we were now partners. He also hid his alcoholism, got behind the wheel of his car drunk while taking me to a job interview, and was pulled over for DUI. One of his landlords was kind enough to let me back in; the next day the other bursts in and flies into a rage throwing me out in the Pittsburgh cold.

As we speak I've been on this city 11 days. I came to start anew, reset; instead I have less friends, less people I trust, no bed, haven't been able to do laundry...

I wish I never came.
