I say this as someone who’s trained since around mid 2019. I get a lot of compliments on my appearance from men, inside the gym and out but I still hardly ever get compliments from women. It has happened a few times but only a handful. Whereas I’ve been complimented by men quite a lot. I started working out because of women, I was sold on the idea that getting in shape would make them flock to me but that turned out to be bullshit.
You may sparingly get some compliments on your physical appearance but for the most part, you still have to do just as much work as the guy who doesn’t train. It’s really an overrated advantage. A compliment is nice but that’s all it is, a one time thing.
