This guy messaged on Fetlife which is probably the last dating app I would expect to meet anyone decent from. I decided to message back not thinking anything would come from it. We ended up having a long phone conversation and I ended up falling for him since we seemed pretty compatible. We live less than a half hour away so I met up with him to watch movies at his place the next day and then the day after that he took me out to a restaurant and we’ve been spending a great deal of time together since. One thing I really like about him is I feel very safe with him. Like the day after we started talking I went to his home. I’ve never done that before but I just knew I could trust this guy and when I got there he made sure to check in on me not to cross any boundaries and make me feel comfortable. Another thing is I’ve never met a man who fought so hard just to have me in his life and made me feel so valued. While with other guys I had to beg the bare minimum. This guy changed for me and created space for me before I even came into his life. He told me heavy shit about how not to long before he met me he was thinking about killing himself because of how alone and hopeless he felt. He was used to helping other people but there was no one really there to help him. He’s the only man I’ve ever encountered besides my dad that made me feel deeply loved, cared for, and valued. And I love how he tells me how happy and loved he feels by me. I love how he is this strong tall man that’s all tough but with me he is this cute cuddly man that just wants lots of affection. He apparently messaged my profile 2 other times on different accounts so I’m glad he kept trying. He said he would be so happy if I just messaged him once. He also told me how he thought I was too attractive for him which is funny because I find him very attractive. And he keeps telling me how lucky he is to have me and how glad he is that I gave him a chance. I’m so fortunate to have such an amazing man in my life
