I could've stayed in longer, but I didn't want to run my water bill up. But yeah, as the title says, I just stood naked under the hot water, wrapped my arms around myself, rubbed my back and closed my eyes, and pretended like someone was giving me a bear hug. I proceeded to go straight off of the deep end (if I haven't already) and whispered "I'm proud of you", "You are not alone", and "You matter" to myself. It's been a long day, and I've been feeling lonely, and I guess there are worse ways to cope but man... a simulated hug is just sad. What is even sadder is the fact that I decided to open Reddit right after. My hair is sopping wet and I am wearing a shirt and a pair of shorts that I picked up off of the floor. But that's not relevant. Anyways, that's my confession. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day.
