Two weeks ago I posted this. To be honest I didn't think I would get much of a response, well I got over 185k views and hundreds of upvotes.

I wanted to share some thoughts...

I LOT of people reached out to me in a similar situation. Interestingly, many people thought they were the only ones and they have also struggled to find help. Often the help we are offered, is around better conflict resolution. Many of these problems are about serious psychological challenges a person has, better conflict resolution will not help this.

The advice on this site needs to be viewed very carefully. Many people told me what I should do, my original post was five paragraphs, people were insisting on life changing decisions without knowing the full story! The best advice, often started with kind words and then questions to determine what else could be going on.

Many people contacted me who were in abusive relationships and did not know what to do, I suggested doing an online search for domestic violence shelters in your area, even if that is not what you need they may have other suggestions to help.

I live in Australia and found it hard to find help here.

So I thought I had found the woman of my dreams were were perfect for each other. We couldn't stop looking into each other's eyes, we loved being around each other. But we could be alone as well so I don't think it was an infatuation.

We are both from Australia, both had the same goals, wanted to start a family... We both come from big families and like Sci Fi and action movies,

We got married four years ago and then everything changed. Almost as soon as we were married she changed.

She didn't want to work, had very bad depression(this came on months later), accused me of cheating when I hadn't.
