My grandma has passed away at least 10 times.
Post Body

This excuse has never failed me.

So... whenever I get a new job and want to call out without the boss thinking I'm lazy, I tell them my grandmother has passed away.

There's nothing your boss can really say besides "i'm sorry for your loss" or "I understand if you are not available."

And the same goes for a college professor. Most times your professor will even give you an extension on your assignment.

In conclusion, I have no regret using this excuse multiple times and my grandma is still alive!
