So this happened a few months ago, was playing lethal company with the boys and we decided to get some mods. We all downloaded the same mod manager and got to downloading mods. Into playing the game I get Microsoft defender notification. I immediately uninstall the manager and all mods and let Microsoft defender remove the virus. Then I download malware bytes which removes a whole lot of adware and some bloat ware. I haven’t noticed anything odd since, everything has been normal. I posted in a Microsoft forum and they said I should be good. After stumbling across this sub i got paranoid again lmao.
