hdd not being detected after swapping it for another one and then re swapping it

i swapped my 2tb secondary for a ps4 hdd so i can format it and then swapped it back for my 2tb hdd and now its not being detecting im thinking its because i formatted the ps4 hdd to not have a drive letter for whatever reason(i dont know why i did)
