Better Frames on a Worse GPU

Hi, i recently upgraded to an rx 6600 from a gtx 970 and my frames have been terrible on every game and stutters every few seconds. I used to run games smoothly on my gtx 970 but my rx 6600 can barely run anything. Please Help!
