CPU:Ryzen 7 5800x MOBO: MSI MAG B550 GAMING PLUS
I got new RAM from in-store at BestBuy(Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200mhz 2x16gb sticks) about 2 months ago and have had an issue where my PC will randomly freeze and sometimes the top 3rd of my 2nd monitor would go black ever since; and I finally got fed up enough to run a memory specific text on occt software and within 4:39 of the 15 minute test I already had 147 errors, I already ran a CPU test and there was no failures at all on the CPU.
I am running the RAM at 3200mhz(I also tried running the RAM at lower speeds 3133 and 2133(default speed for DDR4) and had no effect of frequency of crashes) with A-XMP disabled(it would crash even more frequently with A-XMP enabled even though A-XMP would also set the ram to 3200mhz). BIOS reads the full 32gb of ram and proper RAM speed.
Weirdest part is that when it crashes I don't get a BSOB; and all it shows in event viewer is Windows stopped unexpectedly at the time of the crash.
No bent or missing pins on CPU and nothing in the socket between the CPU and MOBO. I know it is not a cooling issue either bc the temps never go over 87° C.
In conclusion; was my RAM DOA or what is the issue?
