I built myself a gaming PC the beginning of 2021, back when the costs were through the roof due to crypto mining.
It's time to upgrade the hardware. Could you guys help me swap out parts? I'm looking to purchase one new part a month. I'm hoping to keep each part at 500$ and below. I'm willing to go to 1k - 1.5k for the GPU.
Below is my current build purchased piece by piece from Amazon:
Storage: 1. 1 x Kingston 250GB A2000 M.2 2280 Nvme Internal SSD PCIe Up to 2000MB/S with Full Security Suite SA2000M8/2500
- 2 x Samsung Electronics 870 EVO 2TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-77E2T0B/AM)
GPU: ASUS TUF Gaming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 OC Edition Graphics Card (PCIe 4.0, 12GB GDDR6, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4a, Dual Ball Fan Bearings, Military-Grade Certification, GPU Tweak II)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler
Motherboard: ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) AM4 Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 & 3rd Gen Ryzen ATX Motherboard with PCIe 4.0, Dual M.2, 12 2 with Dr. MOS Power Stage
RAM: 2 x Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600 (PC4-28800) C16 1.35V AMD and Intel Optimized Desktop Memory - Black
Power Supply: Computer Power Supplies 750W, RGB Power Supply Fully Modular 80 Gold PSU, Addressable RGB Light Power Supply for Gaming PC
Body: NZXT H510 - CA-H510B-W1 - Compact ATX Mid-Tower PC Gaming Case - Front I/O USB Type-C Port - Tempered Glass Side Panel - Cable Management System - Water-Cooling Ready - White/Black
What parts can I swap in once a month while keeping it still compatible, but also noticeably increasing quality and performance?
Thank you so much for your advice!
