When I originally built this computer a couple weeks ago, I noticed that the cpu cooler I had was not working well, so I added an AK400 cpu cooler, and 1 special 5000 RPM fan.
My temps before we’re reaching as high as 190F before which is why I stopped playing altogether and waited to swap parts.
-Even after i would stop a game, the temps would instantly come down to 140 and then over 4 minutes it would take to get it back down to below 100. It was very evident that cooling was bad on all sides.
After my new installation, normal temps are 73-76F, i do not have internet right now because of my move out situation so I only had time before to install a single game to test.
I Put “Unturned” on ultra ultra, max everything, and it ran very smooth, my 4070 hit a max of 133F and out of all of my CPU cores, the max one hit was 114F, and after stopping the game, temps instantly hit 86F with no issue and over 1 minute comes down to 73-76F,
My question is, unturned is not a very powerful game, do you guys think that 113F core temp and 133F nvidea card temp is normal for running that game on ultra?
I’m sure I “could make” improvements to keep everything at or under 100, but I’m really just wondering if it’s “necessary”, or if I’ll be fine with this
