hello, lately i've been having this really annoying problem with my wi-fi connection randomly not being able to have internet access, thus making me turn on and off the wi-fi multiple times just to have at the very least 1 minute of activity (it's especially bad when i'm downloading stuff). I dunno what is wrong, one moment it goes fine, shows it's connected and the next it shows the icon of when it's not connected, and sometimes it doesn't even let me reconnect at all. Now, i should mention that i live in a two stories house, specifically in the ground floor apartment, and the main wi-fi router is on the floor above me, so i use a repeater, and that is the one giving me these problems. I cannot connect to the main one unless i go inside my bathroom on this floor, and my pc is pretty bulky and heavy to carry around, soooo.... yeah. I'm not even sure if i can just go in the upper floor and hope it works, cause i'm scared the same will happen, so i need to know if it's a problem with my repeater, or my pc, and how i can solve it. Thank you.

P.S. right now i cannot install an Ethernet cable, so in case you ask, i don't have the means to do that.
