Composting Citrus Peels- the eco enzyme method
Post Body

I’ve recently started my journey with composting(hot composting and vermicompost) this year. I have had some citrus peels to compost and I heard it’s too acidic for worms(a myth that was debunked by many experts including author Robert Pavlis) Instead of hot composting/vermicomposting it, I’ve turned to eco-enzyme instead.

For the container I used a Glass Juice Dispenser which has been lying around the house unused. I used a balloon to secure the bottom of the tap to keep the air in and as there will be expansion caused by gas released during the fermentation process of enzyme.(hopefully it doesn’t burst)

The end product would be used for fertilizer and for cleaning cat litter.

That being said, See you in 3 months!
