Can you substitute Vermicompost for hot compost in Winter?
Post Body

I’ve been composting since this Summer but I haven’t had the chance to do it last winter. My compost gets above 110F during this summer (avg temp 91.4F),but I’ve heard that temp above 95F kills red worms.

Winter temperatures range about 55-70F from where I live, so my question is: Can I introduce earthworms/night crawlers to the compost bin during winter? Will my compost still reach beyond 95F in the winter?
