Any tips about menstruation/period products when using a composting toilet full time?
Post Body

I’m about to switch to using a composting toilet (Trelino) full time as I move into a tiny. I have the option to toss the bags or compost them- I’m not sure which I’ll do but would love compost if possible.

I hadn’t even considered this aspect of ft composting until I watched a review video where a woman was talking about how her toilet considerations were different from her male partners and trelino was her favorite style due to the urine separator (they had previously used a trap door style).

I don’t know what I don’t know and had a surprisingly hard time googling this. Any tips are appreciated!

ETA: I typically use reusable products, I’m assuming it would be best not put tampons in your compost.
