Should I get Mary Skelter Nightmare or stick with the remake packaged with 2?

Mary Skelter series is on sale and I'm planning on getting them. However, I keep coming across that I should play 2, then 1 cause of story/lore. However, since 2 comes with a remake of 1, should I still get Mary Skelter Nightmare or can I just stick with the remake packaged with 2?
